The aim of this project is two pronged.

First, it is meant to preserve and promote the ongoing and evolving history of University culture. This entails editing or creating pages on our wiki driven sites for your respective University. Any notable topic deserves an article in the encyclopedia. This aspect also enables the University and associated communities to become the authoritative voice of their respective culture. Preserve your collegiate culture!

Secondly, this project is meant to open the works of academia to the Public Domain. I intend to position this project at least as a distribution system and at most, an actual publishing platform for academic works freely available to the public, or anyone with an internet connection. Although this aspect of the project is a future and perhaps long term goal, the intent of such should garner much needed community support to bring it to fruition.
