Helpers:

I need as many and as much help as the community is willing to give. This, like Wikipedia itself, is a communal project.

Qualifications of Helpers:

Anyone familiar with Wikipedia, Information Architecture, wiki templates and namespaces, Mediawiki, and/or web design is truly helpful!

What we need help with:

The most immediate need is with a skin design for both sites. The next few things that I need help with are cleaning up the templates and articles themselves, adding media (photos/videos), and ultimately adding semantic-mediawiki extension capability. From there we work on promotion, growth, expansion, and self sustaining revenue generation.

Additional information:

I have done a lot of self learning on my own, however this project has reached the limits of my expertise in size, scope, and technicality. It has simply outgrown what my sole individual efforts are capable of keeping up with. I don’t have much money at the moment, in fact Ive been working on this initiative for almost half a year and I wont be able to file for incorporation until next month.

I am certainly willing to work out a partnership with an established, reputable, and trustworthy non-profit entity such as the Wikimedia Foundation. More details of that nature can be discussed privately if you would like to contact me.

I can only imagine what Jimmy Wales was going through with Wikipedia, but believe me I can now certainly identify with the struggles presented in “The Wikipedia Revolution”.
